FERGUS – With the holiday break all said and done, the Fergus Whalers are back, and boasting a nice record, too.
Checking in with 19 wins and only 5 regulation losses in 31 games, head coach of the Whalers Ryan Black knows it’s time to ratchet things up further.
That mountain would be the journey to the PJHL playoffs. Black says that postseason will sneak up quickly, and in the playoffs anything can happen.
Reflecting on the present, Black went on to say it’s been a full-on team effort at every position.
The Whalers’ next game will be Saturday when they clash with the Mitchell Hawks on the road.
