GUELPH – The inaugural promo game in support of the Grove Youth Hubs kicks off at Sleeman Centre Friday, February, 7th, when the Storm play host to the Battalion.
A ceremonial puck drop and charity chuck-a-puck will support the hubs with exposure and finances. Executive Director of the Grove Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario Jeff Hoffman explains the Storm’s partnership with the hubs has been lengthy and rewarding.
Hoffman says the hockey night will be an evening to tell the story of what the hubs mean to the community. Young hockey players, families, and individuals from across the County are expected to be in attendance as Hoffman drops the ceremonial puck.
Beyond that “exciting opportunity,” Hoffman says other information and fundraising avenues will be available.
He went on to say the event is a good chance to meet and connect with the community.
Partnered with day-one Grove Hub supporter Skyline Group of Companies, the puck drops minutes after 7 p.m.
