CENTRE WELLINGTON – Both local hockey teams were in action this weekend.
The Elora Rocks were on the road Friday night in Strathroy to take on the Jets, Elora fell 4-2 to the Jets.
Meanwhile, the Fergus Whalers are also on the road Friday night in Kincardine where they took on the Bulldogs, Fergus lost in a shoot out to Kincardine 4-3.
The Whalers were back in Fergus on Sunday to take on the Mount Forest Patriots at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, Fergus fell to the Patriots 6-2.
