WELLINGTON COUNTY – All Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) and Wellington Catholic School Board (WCDSB) schools are closed today (Thursday, February 13th).
The UGDSB says “Due to inclement weather, all UGDSB schools and offices are closed today to staff and students. Students are to shift to remote learning, where possible. Staff should not report to work in person, and should shift to remote working where possible. All buses and taxis are cancelled to Upper Grand schools.”
The WCDSB “Please be advised that all schools and school board buildings will be closed today due to weather conditions experienced throughout the night and this morning. All before and after school programs and community use of schools permits are canceled throughout the day and evening. Elementary school-parent teacher conferences scheduled for this evening will be canceled and schools will provide further information later today.”
School buses are also cancelled today in all four zones, including Centre Wellington and Wellington County.
Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services says buses are canceled in Zone One (South Wellington), Zone Two (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington), and Zone 4 (Dufferin County).
