NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two motor-vehicle collision, resulting in Highway 7 being closed from Eramosa-Milton Townline to Fifth Line Nassagaweya, Rockwood.
On March 10, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Wellington County OPP, alongside other local emergency first responders responded to a tractor-trailer vs SUV (sports utility vehicle) motor vehicle collision on Highway 7, Rockwood.
As a result, an 80-year-old driver from Rockwood was transported to a trauma centre, later establishing the injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
Highway 7 between Eramosa-Milton Townline to Fifth Line Nassagaweya was closed for a number of hours but have since been reopened.
