PUSLINCH – A Guelph resident faces two criminal charges following a traffic complaint on Monday.
At around 2 pm, Wellington County OPP received a traffic complaint in Puslinch, making officers aware of a vehicle displaying signs of impaired driving.
Officers attended the area and located the vehicle in question on Highway 6 just over Hwy 401 and performed a traffic stop.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old of Guelph is charged with:
- Dangerous Operation
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on March 28, 2025.
