GUELPH – Guelph Police are investigating after a business on Woodlawn Road East reported that three females stole multiple items from the store, all while having two young children with them.
On Tuesday night at around 7:24 PM, three females entered the business along with two young children and began putting items into their bags and purses. Items observed to have been put into the bags were electronics, houseware, candy, and deodorants.
When a store employee approached the females, police said they promptly left the business, making no attempts to pay for the products, and got into a later year, black Ford Escape, leaving the area.
The females were described as:
- medium build, blonde hair, in the 40s, wearing a grey hoodie, white pants, and red shoes.
- medium build, with brown hair, in his 30s, light blue hoodie, pink pants, red shoes.
- female, medium build, brown hair, in the 20s, white top with white and blue jacket, grey pants, white shoes.
The two children were believed to be approximately 2 and 4 years of age.
