MINTO – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on scene with a motor vehicle collision on Main Street West within Palmerston, involving a pedestrian being struck.
On April 15, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Wellington County OPP received a report that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Main Street West within Palmerston. The pedestrian has since been transported by air ambulance to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.
Main Street West was closed as a result of the collision but has since been reopened.
The investigation is still ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team was consulted, and the Wellington County OPP is conducting the investigation.
