TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH – On April 24, 2025, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a Stratford resident in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On April 24, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to an address in Arthur to report of a disturbance.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old of Stratford is charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with Spousal Assault.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
