TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH – On April 24, 2025, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged an Arthur resident in relation to an assault investigation.
On April 24, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to an address in Arthur to report of a disturbance.
As a result of the investigation, a 58-year-old man of Arthur is charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with Assault and Utter Threats-cause death or bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice-Guelph on May 30, 2025.
