CENTRE WELLINGTON – On May 21, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that was observed on Tower Street South in Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, a 50-year-old of Fergus, was charged with:
· Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drug
· Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code
· Having care and control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph, on June 6, 2025.
