WELLINGTON NORTH – Already established as one of the best Farmers’ Markets in Wellington County, the Wellington North Farmers’ Market is gearing up for the 2025 season, which gets underway on Saturday, June 14 at a brand new location.
The Wellington North Farmers’ Market is a weekly market, taking place at 393 Parkside Drive in Mount Forest. The Market provides local vendors an opportunity to market farm and agriculture products directly to consumers. The Farmers’ Market also serves as an outlet to
stimulate public interest in and increase consumption of local products.
The Farmers’ Market will be primarily for the sale of food (meat, fish, poultry, eggs, butter, fruits and vegetables, etc.); horticultural products (flowers, shrubs, plants, etc.); and other products such as home baked goods, preserves, home-made crafts and wood products.
“There are so many reasons why buying local makes sense. There is also significant peace of mind in knowing where our food comes from, ask questions, and enjoy the experience at the Wellington North Farmers’ Market,” said Robyn Mulder, Economic Development Officer
for the Township of Wellington North. “The Farmers’ Market provides a real connection between farmer and consumer.”
The Wellington North Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8:30am to noon at 393 Parkside Drive, Mount Forest. The Market season will run from Saturday, June 14 to Saturday, September 27, with several special events planned throughout the season.
