ERIN – The Town of Erin has a new Fire Chief.
Ted Michael has been appointed as the new Fire Chief & Director of Emergency Services for the Town of Erin.
“Since joining us in 2003, Ted has continuously demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the safety of our community. With more than three decades of expertise in Fire & Emergency Services, Chief Michael has demonstrated outstanding leadership in fire services, including his current role as Chief Fire Prevention Officer for the Town of Erin,” the township said in a news release.
Michael manages a team of 60 volunteer firefighters, leads community outreach initiatives, and enhances public safety through rigorous fire code compliance and meticulous inspections.
The township says his experience also extends to serving as Division Chief Fire Prevention Officer for the Town of Milton where he led the fire prevention division.
Michael will take on the role effective June 30th.
