NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on scene with a two motor-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 West / East, just outside of Mount Forest, involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the pick-up truck sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre, where the driver remains in critical, yet non-life-threatening condition.
The intersection was closed due to this investigation while emergency crews are on scene. The area reopened several hours later.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team has been contacted and have been assisting the Wellington County OPP with the investigation.
