CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington will be applying for a grant to help cover the cost of the Belwood Hall Renovation Project.
In a report to council at Monday’s meeting, staff recommended the township apply to the Ontario Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone Grant, under the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility.
Kasey Berines, Manager of Buildings and Property, says the Belwood Hall Renovation Project aligns closely with this grant’s objectives.
The Belwood Hall Renovation Project was presented to council last month, which aims to upgrade key areas of the facility, including the washrooms, entrance/exterior, main hall, kitchen/servery, and stage area.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Early 2026.
Council approved the motion, and staff will send an application for the grant.
