FERGUS – The Township of Centre Wellington says the play structure at Strathallan Park in Fergus will be removed.
In notice posted to social media, the township says for the past few months, the park structure has been closed due to structural damage identified in the slide.
Early next week, the structure will be removed, and topsoil will be placed over the area. Surrounding residents have been made aware of the removal, and signage has been posted.
The Play Structure is scheduled to be replaced in 2026 and will be presented to Council during the 2026 budget discussions.
