GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP – On July 18, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with other emergency services responded to a report of an airplane crash at the Guelph Airpark located on Skyway Drive in the Township of Guelph-Eramosa.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the single-engine plane flipped onto its nose shortly after landing on a runway. The lone occupant of the aircraft, managed to exit on their own prior to emergency services arriving.
There were no reported injuries to the pilot. Damage amount of the aircraft is unknown currently.
Transport Canada and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre were notified of the incident.
All emergency services have cleared the scene, and the airport remains operational.
