News Release from Wellington County OPP
CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Kitchener resident with several provincial offences.
On September 13, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, with resulted in a traffic stop being conducted on Scotland Street within Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old from Kitchener is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Operate unsafe vehicle
- Improper number plate light
- No mudguards
- No muffler – motor vehicle
- Fail to submit vehicle for tests
