WELLINGTON NORTH – The Township of Wellington North has announced that the Municipality has launched a new Facebook page to stay connected with the community and to share Township news and information.
The original Township of Wellington North Facebook page was created in 2012, following the internal policies and Facebook policies and procedures of the day. Since that time, both the Township’s and Facebook’s procedures and policies have changed.
In keeping with those changes, the Township has created a new corporate Facebook page. Unfortunately, the Township of Wellington North’s original Facebook page is no longer available for the public to view.
The Township encourages residents, business owners and community members to “Follow” the new Township of Wellington North Facebook page, where Township notifications, news and updates will be posted. The new Facebook page can be found
at www.facebook.com/townshipofwellingtonnorth
Community members are also encouraged to visit the Township of Wellington North’s official website – www.wellington-north.com – for news and information.
“As part of our 2024 Strategic Plan, the Township of Wellington North has committed to increasing our efforts in sharing information with the community,” said Mayor Andy Lennox. “We acknowledge that today, multiple forms of media are necessary to deliver our information and updates to our residents. With the launch of the Township’s new Facebook page, this will allow us to continue engaging with our residents and bringing
them information about our programs, services, and news. We hope everyone will ‘Follow’ our new Facebook page to stay up to date on the Township of Wellington North.”
