NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – Charges have been laid against a Halton Hills resident following incident in Erin.
On October 18, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a report of a disturbance at a location on Trafalgar Road in Erin.
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 54-year-old from Halton Hills, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Dangerous operation
- Mischief – domestic
- Utter threats – cause death or bodily harm – spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
