NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
GUELPH-ERAMOSA – An individual has been arrested for suspected impaired driving following a collision.
On November 11, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a public complaint of a single-vehicle found in a ditch on Highway 6 in Guelph-Eramosa.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old from Fergus, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on a later date.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
