WELLINGTON COUNTY/ONTARIO – 95 impaired driving charges have been laid in the OPP West Region, as the 2025 Festive RIDE campaign enters its third week.
To date, West Region OPP officers have conducted 1,055 RIDE check events across 13 West Region detachments.
95 impaired driving charges have been laid, 8 of those in Wellington County, and 39 warn-range suspensions, with 3 in Wellington County.
Provincially, OPP officers have laid 409 impaired driving charges and 39 warn-range suspensions in 3,595 RIDE check events in OPP-patrolled areas across Ontario.
This year’s OPP Festive RIDE Campaign started on November 20th and runs until January 1st.
