MINTO – The Town of Minto’s Cultural Roundtable is hosting a Volunteer & Cultural Symposium created to provide participants with the tools and connections needed to assist their organization and make their volunteer work more fulfilling.
The half-day symposium, coming up February 7th at the Harriston-Minto Community Complex, will bring together volunteers, community organizations, creative professionals, and tourism contributors from across Minto.
The various workshops will highlight findings from the Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Project and provide insights into engaging and supporting volunteers in the community.
Participants will take part in interactive sessions focused on creating a shared annual calendar, identifying opportunities for joint initiatives, and developing new “try-it” program ideas across tourism, agriculture, sport, and community services.
