GUELPH – The OHL Guelph Storm Hockey Club is warning its fans of a scam it has been made aware of.
In a statement, the hockey club says it has been made aware of an active email scam.
The email scam attempts to receive payments in exchange for an in-arena vendor opportunity for the remaining home games of the season.
The Guelph Storm Hockey Club is encouraging residents and fans that if your receive a suspicious email or suspect the orginiality of the email from the organization, report the activity to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
