CENTRE WELLINGTON – Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three persons of interest in a recent shoplifting incident in Fergus.
On February 2, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a member of the Wellington County OPP responded to the report of a theft from a business on Tower Street South in Fergus. Three unidentified suspects entered the store, concealed approximately $150 worth of clothing and toys, and left the premises without making any attempts to pay. The suspects departed in a silver minivan.
The OPP is investigating this incident and is looking to identify three persons of interest and vehicle involved.
