FERGUS – No injuries were reported Wednesday following a structure fire in Fergus.
At around 3 pm, emergency services were called to reports of a structure fire within a row of townhomes on Courtney Street in Fergus.
Wellington County OPP say while emergency services were on scene, occupants from the residence, alongside neighbouring homes, were evacuated for their safety, and to allow local fire services to attend to the fire.
Upon investigation, police say the fire was determined to be non-suspicious, and there were no reports of any injuries.
Courtney Street was closed for a few hours but has since been reopened.
