ERIN – The Town of Erin has a new Deputy Chief of Operations.
In a post to social media, the town announced the promotion of Scott Bates to the position.
“Scott has been a dedicated member of The Town of Erin Fire & Emergency Services for many years, working out of both stations. Scott has demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism, and commitment to both our firefighters and the community we serve,” the town said.
In his previous roles, including Interim Fire Chief, Acting District Chief, and Chief Training Officer, the township says Bates has consistently stepped up to support operations, mentor firefighters, and ensure its stations operate effectively.
In his new role as Deputy Chief of Operations, Bates will be responsible for overseeing operational response, supporting officers and firefighters, and helping guide the department as the town continues to grow and evolve.
