GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Vehicle fire closes roadway.
On April 17, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a single vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames at Eramosa-Milton Townline and Guelph Line, just outside of Rockwood.
The driver sustained serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre by ambulance. No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported.
As a result of the vehicle fire and investigation, Eramosa-Milton Townline is closed between Fourth Line Nassagaweya and Guelph Line.
The public is asked to use alternate routes. More updates to follow when available.
