FERGUS – In local PJHL playoff hockey action Sunday, the Fergus Whalers kicked off their best-of-seven semi-final series against the Frankford Huskies.
Game one was a tightly contested battle with Fergus coming out on top with a 5 to 4 victory.
Jake Lessor made his return to the Whaler lineup with an outstanding 3-goal performance to lead the attack.
Game 2 is Tuesday in Trenton with Game 3 back home in Fergus on Thursday, April 23rd, puck drop is 8:30 pm.
