CENTRE WELLINGTON – A portion of Geddes Street in Elora will closed to construction beginning April 27 thru to August 2026 due to retaining wall rehabilitation.
The County of Wellington has hired contractor Kieswetter Excavating to install a new barrier wall and guide rail, and complete drainage improvements of the retaining wall on Geddes St at the border of Elora and Salem in the Township of Centre Wellington.
The road will be closed, with absolutely no through traffic, for the duration of the project.
Pedestrian access will remain open.
Detours will take place using David Street W to Wellington Road 7 to Woolwich Street W or County Road 18.
