FERGUS – Classic 80s rock is taking centre stage at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus this week.
Theatre Centre Wellington is presenting “Rock of Ages” Teen Edition, packed with hits from Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, and Journey.
The high-energy musical is set on L.A.’s legendary Sunset Strip, and the show follows a group of dreamers chasing love, music, and their place in the world.
CWDHS Teacher and Director, Jenny Ritter, says even though some of her students weren’t familiar with some of the tunes, they went for it.
Rocky, who is the drummer in the band, says working on this show has been a great experience.
Performances run nightly at 7 pm starting tonight through to the 25th at the CWDHS cafetorium.
Audience members are encouraged to dress in their best 80s gear or favourite concert T-shirt.
