NEWS RELEASE COUNTY OF WELLINGTON
Please be advised that Cox Construction has been hired to complete road reconstruction and bridge repair works on Wellington Road 52 in the Town of Erin. Road reconstruction will take place between Wellington Road 124 and Winston Churchill Blvd (Wellington Road 25). The bridge (Erin Bridge B052109) is located on Wellington Road 52, south of the Wellington Road 124 and Main Street intersection.
Road reconstruction works are scheduled to begin May 4 through mid-July and will allow for local traffic only, with expected delays. A detour route is posted taking the traveling public around the project site.
Bridge works will require a full road closure, with no through traffic or emergency access, and is anticipated to occur in June. An updated notice will be sent when a confirmed closure date is received.
