ELORA – It’s the weekend that bibliophiles near and far wait for. It’s the Annual Giant Book Sale, an important fundraiser for the Elora Festival.
Held at the Elora Curling Club from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3, volunteers have organized more than 60,000 gently-read adult and children’s books, games, DVDs. CDs and records.
Books are generally priced between $2-$4, with collector’s items being priced around $4-$15. Children’s books are generally priced between $1-$5. Organziers will accept cash, credit card and debit payments.
Doors open at 1pm on Friday, May 1 until 9pm. This is the only day that charges a $5 admission, for booklovers to get in on the best deals early.
Saturday, May 2 the doors are open from 9:30AM – 5:00PM.
Sunday, May 3, the event runs from 9:30am to 4pm. Admission is free/
