GUELPH – A Puslinch man was taken off the road and had his vehicle impounded after he was caught Friday night driving nearly twice the speed limit.
At around 10:10pm, Guelph Police was patrolling on Woodlawn Road West when they observed a black Jeep travelling at a high rate of speed.
The officer followed the Jeep and clocked it at 112 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
A 38-year-old Puslinch man is charged with stunt driving, speeding and failing to provide his driver’s licence.
His licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
