TOWN OF MINTO – Commercial motor vehicle charged. Six charges laid.
On June 2, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the West-Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team was conducting proactive traffic enforcement within Wellington County, and performed a traffic stop on Queen Street within Harriston.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old from Moorefield is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Overweight vehicle – violate permit …kg
- Overweight on tires …kg…150mm or over (three counts)
- Improper tires – drawn vehicle – commercial motor vehicle
- Insecure load – commercial motor vehicle
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
