FERGUS – The continuation of Phase 2 of construction on St. David Street North in Fergus is scheduled to begin June 22nd.
The Township of Centre Wellington has notified residents and business owners that work will take place from approximately 50 metres north of Garafraxa Street to Edinburgh Avenue. Crews will complete the remaining outstanding work from the original project, including final landscaping and other deficiencies.
The roadway is expected to be closed until July 17th, with St. David Street North closed to through traffic during construction.
The project will also include paving between St. Andrew Street and Edinburgh Avenue.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detours.
