ERIN – One person has been charged in connection to a sexual assault investigation in the Town of Erin.
On June 12, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a disturbance at an address within the Town of Erin.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old from Erin, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Sexual assault (two counts)
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on September 4, 2026.
