CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington has cancelled tonight’s Canada Day fireworks at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex due to weather concerns.
Despite the cancellation, the Rotary Club’s Canada Day celebration will continue as planned. Organizers say any changes to the daytime festivities will be communicated directly by the Rotary.
Residents planning to attend are encouraged to monitor weather conditions and prepare accordingly.
Township officials thanked the community for its understanding and wished everyone a safe and enjoyable Canada Day.
