FERGUS – Wellington County OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect following a theft at a construction site in Fergus.
Police were called to a construction site on Second Line on August 31st after receiving a report of a theft.
Investigators say that around 3 a.m. on August 29th, a dark red Ford F-150 was seen travelling from a neighbouring property toward the construction site.
Police say an unknown suspect or suspects then entered the site and stole more than $5,000 worth of copper wire.
The investigation remains ongoing.
