KITCHENER – Summer may be inching toward a close, but for Kitchener Rangers fans, that means the regular season is right around the corner, and the team is looking to wrap up with its annual Summer Showcase and Fan Fest & BBQ this weekend.
Fan Fest, the annual event, has been running for over 25 years and has continued to support Make-A-Wish Canada, raising more than $250,000 to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses through Rangers Reach.
“As always, admission to the Fan Fest is free for all fans and will include a number of activities, including inflatable games, rides, an autograph session with Kitchener Rangers players, and, of course, a BBQ,” said the Kitchener Rangers.
“This year, the Memorial Cup and J. Ross Robertson Cup will be in attendance for fans to take photos with and celebrate our Championship season.”

“The Rangers will play each team once, and there will be a total of five games over the weekend, with the final Kitchener game being played at the Woolwich Memorial Centre on Monday, September 7.”
The full Summer Showcase slate includes:
- Friday, Sept. 4 – Kitchener Rangers vs Oshawa Generals – 7:00 p.m.
