ELORA: According to Wellington County OPP a business in Elora was ransacked for its tobacco.
Police said on Sept. 7, at around 2:15 a.m., Wellington County OPP officers responded to an alarm activation at a business on Wellington Road 7 in Elora.
A press release said two unknown male suspects forced entry into the business and stole an “undetermined quantity” of tobacco products before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived after the thieves had already dispersed, but an investigation revealed they had driven off in a grey Honda bearing the plate number CZFN 557.
OPP said the investigation is ongoing; anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 with reference number E261300622.
