ERIN – Wellington County OPP have charged an Erin resident with impaired driving following a rollover crash on Trafalgar Road.
Police said on Sept. 12 at around 12:30 a.m., emergency crews, including fire and paramedics, responded to a single-vehicle collision on Trafalgar Road in Erin.
OPP said the vehicle had “collided with several trees and came to rest upside down in a ditch.”
Their investigation revealed signs of impairment and police demanded a breath test, which they said revealed a blood alcohol content (BAC) exceeding legal limits.
Police have charged a 33-year-old from Erin with:
- Operation while impaired – (BAC above 80)
- Dangerous operation
A 90-day driver’s license suspension was issued alongside a seven-day vehicle impound.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before Guelph Courts on Oct. 23, 2026.
