WELLINGTON COUNTY – Drivers across Wellington County should expect some delays as pavement work gets underway next week.
The County says pavement overlay work, including line painting and shoulder grading at various locations throughout the County, will include:
- Brock Road (McLean Road to Nicholas Beaver Road), which is tentatively scheduled for September 20-21
- Wallenstein Bridge (Wellington Road 86), which is tentatively scheduled for September 21-22

“The work will be performed by Brantco Construction of Cambridge, ON. Project completion is anticipated by mid-October 2026,” the County said in a press release.
The County says one lane of traffic will be available at all times; however, delays are expected where work is being performed.
There will also be overnight work (7PM to 7AM).
