FERGUS – The Fergus Highland Rugby U18 men’s Sevens team is celebrating a championship win.
The team captured the Bellwether Sevens championship title in Brantford on Sunday, September 27th.
The team will now return home to Victoria Park in Fergus this Sunday, October 4th, as hosts of the Border Sevens tournament. The event will feature Highland U14, U16 and U18 teams, with both boys’ and girls’ divisions taking part.
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with the champions earning a spot at the provincial championships.
The Border Sevens tournament runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Victoria Park field.
