Some autumn-themed fun is coming to the Royal City this weekend, with pumpkin bowling, line dancing, alpacas, and more set to be featured at a new Guelph Fall Fair.
The details come from Royal City Nursery, which is hosting the upcoming fair, saying it will be a free-to-attend, community-focused event.
While some fall fun is set to headline the festivities, Royal City Nursery said there will also be a focus on family-themed attractions and educational activities as well.
“Snap a photo at the festive photo booth, get up close and personal with 2 different tractors, try some line dancing, find the fun facts in our kids’ scavenger hunt, and learn about fall gardening techniques,” said Royal City Nursery.

Pets will also have a few treats if they’re brought to the fair this coming weekend, including a sensory sniff station, trick challenges, and a free “Ask the Dog Trainer” station to get “positive, science-based advice from a certified force-free behaviour specialist at One Leg Up Canine Company.”

Saturday, 10:30 am: Free gardening seminar, “Planting Fall Bulbs for Spring Blooms: Expert Tips & Tricks” — learn about ways to keep squirrels away from your tulips, bulb lasagna planting to maximize how many bulbs you can fit in your garden, and more

Of course, various attractions and fall staples will be running throughout the course of the new Guelph Fall Fair.
The event is set to be held at Royal City Nursery at 6838 Wellington Road 124 in Guelph, running from Saturday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 4, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
