MAPLETON – Emergency services were on-the-scene in Mapleton on Oct. 8 tending a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Wellington Road 12 and the Eighth Line.
“Three individuals were involved in the collision amongst the drivers and occupant, and all parties were treated for minor injuries and were transported to local hospital as a precaution,” Wellington County OPP said in a press release, “all injuries were deemed to be non-life-threatening.”
The collision happened around 5:30 p.m., and police said hydro lines were down which caused a road closure running late into the night.
Roads have since reopened; anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has information, such as dashcam footage, that could assist with this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
