Wellington County OPP say officers were called to a reported disturbance at an address in the township around 11:15 p.m. on October 12th.
Following the investigation, the accused was charged with spousal assault and mischief involving the destruction or damage of property.
Police say the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP are not releasing the accused’s name to protect the identity of the victim.
