CENTRE WELLINGTON – 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington is helping support families with children receiving hospital care, donating $13,000 to Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario.
The cheque was presented on Wednesday, October 14th, with all funds raised through the local group designated to support Centre Wellington families staying at Ronald McDonald House while their children receive treatment at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
In a press release, the organization says Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton supports families whose children are hospitalized.
“Accommodation and food costs run close to $350, and Ronald McDonald House covers the expenses, with the family only paying $12 a night. All funds raised through CW 100 Women are asked to be spent on our residents, allowing CW families at McMaster Children’s Hospital to receive support.”
