FERGUS – Police have charged a youth following an investigation in Fergus.
On Saturday night at around 8 pm, Wellington County OPP responded to the report of a family dispute at a residence in Fergus.
Police say a victim attended a local hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old from Fergus is charged with assault with a weapon.
The accused was released from custody and will appear before a Guelph court at a later date.
