FERGUS – A theft investigation in Fergus has led to charges against a 23-year-old from Arthur.
Wellington County OPP say officers responded to a reported theft in progress at a business on St. David Street on October 23rd, at around 8:30 in the morning.
Police arrived and arrested the individual at the scene.
The accused is facing charges of shoplifting and possessing property obtained through crime, both under five-thousand dollars.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 15th, 2027.
